May 12th was our "Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Awareness Day." This is the third year we have had this special event and it has been a fun day. Our fields were decorated, the girls got to play with pink softballs and we give out pins, wrist bands and head bands . The day was beautiful. The pink trucks for breast cancer came for the day. We collected donations at the gate, sold cupcakes and raffled off prizes to help the Gloria Gemma Foundation. We raised $350.00 for breast cancer. Thank You to everyone who donated. Also a special thanks to Katie Davies for always getting us beautiful Vera Bradley items and Janet Whitney for all her blankets and pillows she makes. Thank you to everyone who baked cupcakes. We looking forward to more special days like this one.
